Mrs SA’s journey takes her to Nokulunga Primary

Mrs SA top 24 contestant's journey continues with a scheduled list of actvities including visiting Nokulunga Primary school in Kathlehong

KATLEHONG – The Mrs SA top 24 was announced on April 12 and Nondumiso Motlhala, one of the contestants, has reached the fundamental stages of her journey.

One of her many initiatives included attending schools and educating young girls by teaching them about morals and values.

Nondumiso visited Nokulunga Primary in Kathlehong on May 13 where she discussed her drive: Three P’s to a fulfilled life that is purity, purpose and potential.

“The staff and principal were very welcoming and the kids were excited,” said Nondumiso.

At around 09:00, the grade sixes and sevens were called to the school hall and Nondumiso described her drive as being a Mrs SA finalist and providing them inspiration by discussing teenage pregnancy, the consequences of having sex at an early age and reminding them that they were created for a purpose which is far above boys, informing them that they have great potential to do whatever they set their minds on.

“They must put God first in everything they do in order to succeed in life,” said Nondumiso.

She describes the event as a life changing experience. “I think because the kids were appreciative, it really needed to be discussed, as it is not always a topic of conversation within families,” she said.

“This will be an on-going journey for me. This is something I want to stay committed to even after Mrs SA,” said Nondumiso.
