Protesters will be protesting outside of Circus in Alberton

ALBERTON – Beauty without cruelty will be holding a protest against wild animals used in circus’s at the corner of Swartkoppies and Lincoln roads, General Alberts Park on April 12 at 13:00.

This group also protested with the Circus’ visit to Alberton in 2013 and they are expecting an evening of bigger support this year with the hope that up to 200 people will join them on Saturday.

According to a spokesperson and one of the organisers of the protest, they are more focused on creating awareness about cruelty against animals this year, and they also secured a permit for their protest.
