JOHANNESBURG – Styles offered at Dance With Me studio on both social and competitive levels include Latin American, ballroom, hip hop and line dancing, while also catering for wedding and matric dances.
The studio is affiliated to the SADF (South African Dance Foundation), SADTA (South African Dance Teachers Association), IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association) and WDC (World Dance Council).
Although it is a very competitive sport, the studio has a very social, relaxing and comfortable atmosphere with added exercise. Dance With Me also caters for those who would just like to dance for fun, exercise, matric and wedding dances.
A very proud studio owner, Marius Pieterse, have judged many provincial and national competitions, and holds the SADF Professional Latin and Ballroom Open Gold Champion titles for 2007 and 2008. Marius Pieterse is the current SADF (South African Dance Foundation) Gauteng Vice Chairman and SADF National Committee Member.
Latin and Ballroom are the two most popular dance styles and the studio currently has more than 150 students with a teaching team of 10 trainers.
Classes are from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 21:00 and Saturdays from 08:00 to 14:00. Cost for lessons range depending on the dance style and the studio can also cater for your financial needs.
Dance With Me invites all members of the public to join them on April 4 at 20:00 to celebrate 14 years of excellence in dancing.
