Alberton’s media mogul aims for Mrs South Africa crown

Desiree Olifant from Alberton is on the list for Mrs SA semi-finalists 2014 hoping to be crowned.

ALBERTON – Desiree Oliphant is Alberton’s very own Mrs SA semi-finalist 2014.

She resides in Brackendowns and has lived in Alberton for more than a decade with her family of two children, son Luciano (17), daughter LÓreal (13) and husband Michael.

Desiree is a media mogul by profession within the sales, marketing and advertising industry. She has worked for SABC for around 19 years.

She was a professional modelling for ten years in photographic and ramp, television for SABC 1, SABC 2, where she played Bobi-Lee Plaaitjies in Vetkoekpaleis and starred as the secretary for SABC 1’s Emzini Wezinsiswe.

“I am very passionate about my life, every aspect of my life,” she says. “My children, my career, my personal, spiritual, mental and physical well-being all contribute to the aspect of who I am as a person.”
