Karabo help children of Alberton and provide emotional support

Children learn and benefit from Karabo project

THE Karabo Care is a project of Karabo: I am the Solution, which opened their doors in 2001 and was registered in 2004, specialising in the fields of HIV and AIDS including the emotional care of children.

Karabo: I am the solution aim to provide support and care for children in schools around the Alberton facility and other surrounding areas.

Their mission is to support the school-based support teams in every school, encourage the community surrounding every school to get involved with the needs of their specific school by creating awareness of the needs of children within the school, by providing opportunities for voluntary participation and encourage financial support. They also focus on various skills training for the children.

Karabo have introduced Conscious Discipline within their project Safety and Connection (the adult is the role model). To find out more about Karabo, contact 079 322 7348.
