Burst water pipe and hole left unattended

DURING December 2013 a water pipe had burst under a driveway outside a property in Randhart.

The town council dug a huge hole to fix the pipe and the hole remained open until about two weeks ago when it was closed.

The resident is concerned about the condition of the hole and further problems it could cause.

“It is impossible to get into our driveway and the entire place from the driveway to the paving is a complete mess due to shoddy workmanship with an ‘I don’t care’ attitude,” explained the resident.

The EMM were contacted and responded late with: “At the time we received this enquiry the paving was already restored. The curbing will be completed.”
