SAPS curtails weekend criminal activity in Alberton

During the weekend from January 24 to January 26 a total of 68 suspects were arrested at Alberton SAPS.

ALBERTON – Crimes committed range from assault, house breaking, rape, possession of house breaking implements, drinking in public, reckless and negligent driving, malicious damage to property, negligent handling of a firearm, drunken driving, shoplifting, theft, theft out of motor vehicle, dealing with liquor, possession of drugs, common robbery, rail crossing, defeating the ends of justice and fraud.

The following items were recovered or confiscated, dagga, liquor, drugs, knives, dvd’s, swords, a cell phone, a car, a hacksaw, a generator and a cutting machine.
