BRACKENHURST – After an anonymous tip-off, SAPS Brackendowns members raided a house and found two stolen vehicles and car parts on January 16.
On arrival at the house, SAPS members found that the wife of the suspect was home. She contacted her husband and he came home, only to be arrested for vehicle theft.
The vehicle number plate and VIN number did not correspond, of which one car was wanted in a Garsfontein case and the other a Nigel case.
The suspect who was arrested was renting the premises and had numerous vehicles in his yard, although only two were identified as being stolen on the day of recovery.
