Civil and Democracy Education Workshop for the youth
The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) have requested Alberton Councillors to invite all the Alberton youth between the ages of 16 and 25 to attend an election workshop.
ALBERTON – The workshop entitled: “Civil and Democracy Education” will give the youth a background in elections, voting which includes the process involved, and on how to register etc.
The workshop will take three hours and will be held at the Alberton Town Council (Alwyn Taljaard Avenue) entrance between the library and Alberton City mall. It is the tall building with Ekurhuleni written on it.
Keep your diaries open for January 31 from 15:00 to 18:00. The venue is the auditorium on the third floor of the building.
The Councillors urge all the youth to attend as it will be a very informative workshop. Everyone who would like to attend must please confirm for catering purposes. Kindly phone Andile on 0826249007.
