New facility proudly donated by Hush Puppies
Saturday November 16 saw the grand re-opening of the Kitty and Puppy Haven after almost a year of being closed. The new facility is now based in Midrand.
The opening was a great success and Hush Puppies was there to celebrate the day and officially open the new Surgical and X-ray wing.
Hush Puppies South Africa has been raising funds for this amazing cause through the Puppy Love Calendar Initiative.
Hush Puppies Puppy Love calendar Initiative was launched beginning of October 2013, each calendar is being sold for R120.00 including VAT, at all Hush Puppies retail stores, online at www.hushpuppies.co.za/puppylove and at Kitty and Puppy haven.
The calendar has been made possible with the amazing art talent that exists in our Gauteng High Schools. Through a stringent celebrity and public voting forum, we selected 13 great art pieces that ultimately make up the calendar.
Hush Puppies would love to thank everyone who has supported the Puppy Love Initiative till now and urges the public to purchase the calendar and help us continue raising funds to help improve the lives of Puppy, dogs , kittens and cats across Gauteng.
Kitty and Puppy Haven’svision is to improve the worth of animals in South Africa and to ensure every animal has access to veterinary care, food, love and shelter.
It also aims to reduce the numbers of unwanted animals through education and sterilisation campaigns, and to educate underprivileged communities on animals and ultimately themselves.
