Lions come out at night

Dros does it again.

BOMBS away at Dros October 29 with ex-rugby players (with Derick Minnie-current) and the Alberton Junior rugby team who came together for a pleasant evening with their families. Dros manager Gabriel and Paul Bennett organised the event with a touch of excitement and went out of their way to organise the special evening along with others.

Dian Scheepers (Alberton Junior rugby) sold the most tickets to raise funds for the team.

The amazing buffet arranged with chicken, pork and alternative meat was well worth the R50 and that also included a delectable salad.

There were three main prizes which included 3rd prize: R200 meal voucher from Dros given to Marc du Plooy, 2nd prize: R500 meal voucher from Dros for Wilma Fouche and the 1st prize was a memorabilia Lion’s Rugby Jersey exclusively signed by the players, for Chantelle Smal.

Word of thanks from the management of Alberton Junior Rugby Club: Gabriel from Dros who put in the utmost effort in making the evening successful and to the Lion players who came out of their way to show their support towards the Alberton Junior Rugby players and Dros.
