An enjoyable night with students and Connell Cruise

Alberton – Students from Alberton were disappointed that there had not been a farewell party organised for their grade 7 class of 2013.

Five students took the plunge and decided to organise their very own event and sold all the tickets within a period of two weeks.

The event took place on October 19 at the Brackenhurst Scout hall with a DJ, eats and a chocolate fountain.

The theme was set with a masked ball appeal and as though a “Hollywood” evening had come to be. The invited guest, Connell Cruise lit up the evening with his impeccable singing voice. Together, this proves when youth put their minds to it, anything is possible.
