Drug dealers busted

SAPS Alberton showed no mercy after they caught suspects dealing with dagga.

VERVOERDPARK – Six suspects were arrested for dealing with dagga in Bloutulp Road, Vervoerdpark on October 12.

All suspects who were on the premises were arrested, although according to SAPS members, only two of the suspects confirmed their dealings with these drugs.

Alberton SAPS received a tip-off and was closely monitoring the house. On this day they decided to do special operations and raided the house.

The police found about R25 000 worth of marijuana in a hole which was dug up in the kitchen and also found bottled dagga in the backyard toilet.

SAPS members were keeping a close eye on two male suspects who were walking around with lots of money. They followed the two to the house and noticed one of them constantly walking in and out of the house.

Some of the dagga was set to be delivered to Port Elizabeth.

It is bad enough that this amount of marijuana was found, but the house is located within walking distance of Laerskool President Steyn and Hoërskool Alberton.
