Bikers rev up for a good cause

Join in all the fun with Bikers who continue to make difference in the community.

MEYERTON – PPK Kleinbegin Church in Alberton recently hosted a Biker’s Picnic (Bike-Niek) for members of the congregation at the Malonjeni Guest Farm in Meyerton.

The morning service was held in the lapa, after which a brunch had been prepared for everyone. The outing was only made possible by the donations of sponsors who covered the entrance fee for Malonjeni plus food and refreshments.

It was a day that included activities such as: volleyball; tug-of-war; treasure hunt and rugby enjoyed by both young and old. The outing proved successful and Bikers have now decided to hold this event once a year.

Not only does the Church boast a Biker’s Group, but a Camping Group is also in the process of being established. Fishing and 4×4 routes will also fall under the camping group. This will ensure that everyone in the congregation takes part in some form of activity bringing everyone closer together.

PPK Kleinbegin celebrated their 3rd birthday in April and they look forward to becoming a recognised place of worship in Alberton. They hold their services at the Alberton Rugby Club on a Sunday at 08:15 and 18:00. PPK Kleinbegin invites you to attend one of the services.
