Animal charities to join hands for exciting PetsDay event

Calling all animal lovers to a pets Blessing with a difference.

This year Animal Anti-Cruelty League will be holding their traditional, annual Pets Blessing on Saturday October 5.

They will be joining forces with a number of great animal charities, and organizers of PetsDay, to bring you and your pets an amazing day of fun and entertainment. Their popular minister, Reverend Brian, will again administer the pet blessings, in his warm and inimitable manner.

To take place at Goldfields Kennel Club, Boeing Road, Bedfordview from 08:00 to 15;00.

Entertainment will come in the forms of Dog Walk; Fun Walk for Humans; Boxer Show; (2  Group pet Blessings); Dog Cake Bake Competition; Master and Dog Look Alike Competition; Dog Show and many more activities during the ocurse of the day.

Entrance fee: R30 for humans; R10 pet – tickets available at Computicket or at the gate, or from Animal Anti-Cruelty League, 8 Alice Lane, Regents Park.

All humans and pets welcome. You can bring your pet tarantula, gecko, cat, dog, bunny rabbit, or whatever, just as long as they are on a lead or in a cahe.
