Safe Harbour Estates cares

David handed over a cheque for Safe Harbour Estates’ contribution to the Trust Fund to help Alice Kennedy.

THERE are few things worse in life than not knowing the well-being of your child.

For almost a year now, that is the situation that has faced the parents of Alice Kennedy, who turns two in September.

Despite numerous visits to a multitude of specialists and an array of differing diagnoses – from Rett Syndrome to Autism – Ryan and Michelle are still none the wiser. What they do know is that Alice will have special needs for the rest of her life and the sooner they can treat her, the better the quality of life for Alice.

The only avenue left to explore is to send Alice’s blood samples to be tested and analysed at laboratories in Holland, in the hope of a proper diagnosis so that she can be treated appropriately. One can understand that this is an expensive exercise

The Kennedy’s have been overwhelmed by the support of family, friends and even anonymous contributors to the Alice Kennedy Trust Fund. At a recent fund raising event held at Cassa Rossi in Glenanda , one such generous contributor was Safe Harbour Estates, represented by Principal David Tesh.

David handed over a cheque for Safe Harbour Estates’ contribution to the Trust Fund that will go a long way in helping to raise the close on R90 000 needed to pay for the tests and transporting the samples to Europe.
