Mens health with Hyperlife for the month of November

Hyperlife also provides various medical examinations, including a full male-specific exam designed for optimal male health screening.

HYPERLIFE is calling all men to get tested for prostate cancer in November.

Don’t fear, it’s not what you think gentleman. There are less invasive ways to screen for prostate cancer than the method that gives most men nightmares.

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in men. If prostate cancer is detected early it has a good chance of being treated successfully before it spreads.

As men age, the prostate gland may enlarge naturally and affect the flow of urine. This does not necessarily mean that you have cancer but it needs to be investigated further.

How can you be tested for prostate cancer?

“Most men fear going to a doctor to be screened for prostate cancer because of the uncomfortable per rectum examination, but there are less awkward ways to perform prostrate screening, including a pelvic ultrasound and a simple PSA blood test,” says Dr Armfield from Hyperlife.

The pelvic ultrasound is done on the lower abdomen and is not a painful or uncomfortable procedure and although the PSA requires blood to be drawn it is a quick and easy way to assess your risk.

Hyperlife also provides various medical examinations, including a full male-specific exam designed for optimal male health screening.
