ALBERTON – Matrix Warehouse celebrated its 15th year in business on Saturday, August 15. The celebration was marked with nationwide one-day specials and a huge birthday bash at the Matrix Warehouse head office in Alberton.
COUNTRY MUSIC: John Jackson entertained the crowd at the Matrix Warehouse 15th birthday celebration.
HOMEGROWN TALENT: John Jackson played a selection of covers and original music for the Alberton crowd.
MARKET: Products from many different vendors were available in the parking area of Matrix Warehouse Alberton.
KIDDIES RIDES: Frikkie Kruger provided exciting rides for children during the birthday celebration.
ENJOYING THE RIDE: Frikkie and several children enjoy a trip around the parking lot.
CELEBRATING: Sonja Harmse, and children (Handsome, Matthew, Yanes, Christal) from the St Mary’s Children’s Home in Johannesburg. All profits raised on August 15, by Matrix Warehouse Alberton, were donated to the children’s home.

FLIPPING FOR CHARITY: Mary Stierlin made pancakes at the AMCARE stall.
SAFE SWOP: Wayne Hill, Jan Boschoff (managing director) and Vassy Vassen facilitated the printer swop between customers who brought old printers and exchanged them for brand new printers. The old printers are going to be donated to charity.
GIVEAWAY: Brendan Veltman poses with the scooter which was given away at the event.
HOT RODS: Matrix Warehouse displayed a selection of retro and modern luxury vehicles owned by the company at the party.

Residents showed up in droves to celebrate the day by taking advantage of the special offers, competitions and entertainment set up by Matrix. There was also an open-air market with vendors coming from different areas in Johannesburg. AMCARE and St Mary’s Children’s Home were also present at the event.
The crowd was entertained by John Jackson, a country performer who sang an entertaining selection of cover songs and some original numbers from his own catalogue. Residents were also treated to complementary hot dogs.
