GALLERY: Golf day was a success
School thankful for all their sponsors.
ALBERTON High School had their annual golf day on September 7 at the Reading Country Club to raise funds for the school.
The day began with some rainy weather, but it turned out to be a warm, sunny and really fun day.
Rudi Holtzhausen had the longest drive of the day. Nearest to the pin was Joshua Belo.
The first prize winners of the day were Rick Barrow and Nick Maritz with 48 points. The second prize winners had a score of 47 and the third prize winners had 38 points.
“Thank you first and foremost to all the staff and parents who made our annual golf day a roaring success. We are thankful for the commitment shown to the Blue to keep us going up all the time,” said Jannie Olivier, principal.
