Pick ‘n Pay Lemontree winner

The Lemontree Pick 'n Pay bakkie winner received an unexpected birthday surprise.

ALBERTON – On Saturday, August 29, finalists for the Pick ‘n Pay WM Steed 5 2.2 double cab bakkie draw assembled at Pick n Pay in Lemontree Shopping Centre to find out whether they would be the lucky winner of the vehicle.

Seventeen finalists selected keys from a bag and tried their keys one by one to determine the winner of the car.

WINNER: Dutchie and Cindy Luscos, Mariada Nel and Jason Loscos pose with the Stickeez characters.

GRATEFUL: Mariada Nel and Cindy Luscos (manager of Pick n Pay Lemontree) right after Mariada won the double cab bakkie.

LUCKY NUMBER: Mariada Nel was the 16th person to try to unlock the WM Steed 5 2.2 double cab bakkie. It was Mariada’s lucky day when the key that she selected was the correct one.

OVERWHELMED: Mariada Nel could hardly believe that she was the lucky winner of the double cab bakkie.

Anticipation mounted as 15 people tried their keys in the door of the car. The key which finally unlocked the door for the winner was number 16, held by Mariada Nel.

“Cindy (Luscos) called me on my birthday to tell me that I was a finalist and said she had a present for me,” said Mariada after claiming her prize.
