Action-packed oval racing on the cards

If you thrive on adrenaline then this will be one event you do not want to miss.

MOTORSPORT fans will be delighted as the next round of tar oval track racing kicks off at the renowned Rock Raceway venue in Brakpan on Saturday, February 6.

All the oval drivers in various categories will take to the circuit to give the spectators a showdown of high speed adrenaline filled action as they all charge towards the finish line for the ultimate podium spots up for grabs. The 400m oval circuit will play host to all the favourite entertainers.

If you thrive on adrenaline then this will be one event you do not want to miss, Rotary fans and V8 fans are in for a real treat.

The V8 Outlaw Sprints will smoke tyres to the finish line in a high speed chase for the podium spot. Rotary fans will see the Super Midgets do battle trackside as well.

Other favourite competing categories will include Kids In Racing SA Ninja Class ages six to 12 years old, 100cc Micro Midgets, 125 Shifter Karts, Formula 2 Midgets,1600 Stock Rods, 1660 Modified Saloons, V8 Lexus Class, 2.1 L Pinto Class, 2.1 L Modified Saloons, Super Saloons and Formula N Circuit Racing.

Come and support your favourite racing drivers.

Entry fees to the venue are R65 for adults and R30 for children between six and 12 years. Embankment parking is charged at R50 per vehicle and no reservations will be made.

Sufficient food and refreshments will be on sale at the circuit.

On Sunday, February 7, the first round of the South African 4KC (SA 4 Stroke Karting Club) series kicks off at The Rock Raceway. If you own a four stroke 200 for juniors or 400 for women and seniors then this event is for you. Documentation starts at 07:00 and the event from 08:00 to 13:00. Free entry for spectators.
