Lions back at the Den

The final squad warm-up matches are set against the Leopards, Valke and Blue Bulls.

THE Emirates Lions have returned to the Lions Den ready to commit to another unforgettable Super Rugby season.

Emirates Lions have scheduled four warm-up matches before their first Super Rugby match against Japan and will continue their momentum in a training camp from January 21 and 22.

The Emirates Lions will be the first Super Rugby team to play in Japan against the Sun Wolves, and in preparation for this they will take on the other new outfit in the competition, the Argentinian side, the Jaguares, in a friendly match on February 19 in Johannesburg.

The final squad warm-up matches are set against the Leopards, Valke and Blue Bulls.

Players recovering from injury over the past pre-season include Ross Cronje, Ruan Combrink, Martin Muller, Justin Ackerman, Harold Vorster and Derick Minnie. Rehabilitation and recovery is on schedule for all the players.
