Gymnasts receive top rankings
All gymnasts did extremely well in their competitions this season.
TWENTY-SEVEN level one to three artistic gymnasts from the Resilience Gymnastics Club, in Robertsham, excelled in several competitions throughout the year.
The boys and girls participated in their first friendly competition in Kempton Park with 13 gymnasts placing in the top three rankings and the rest reaching the top 10 rankings.
At the Central Gauteng Regional competition 11 gymnasts placed in the top three rankings, with Tanielle Smith winning her section and Joshua Felix-Southon finishing second overall in his section.
For their achievements 25 gymnasts, including those who only took up gymnastics a few months prior to the season, received their Central Gauteng half colours.
All the gymnasts qualified for the North Zone Competition which was held from August 27 to 29. At this mini national competition Tanielle also walked away as champion.
