Southern team to take on the world’s best
The public is encouraged to attend a dinner and dance to help raise funds for the young soccer team. Tickets are R150 per person.
THE Sporting Football Club is hosting a dinner and dance to help raise funds for their u.11 boys’ side to compete in Portugal and Spain.
The u.11 side will be representing the club in the prestigious Mundialito or Mini World Cup.
The tournament takes place from March 19 to 27, 2016, at Vila Real de Santo Antonio, in Algrave, Portugal and at Avamanto in Andalucia, Spain. The team will be competing against well-known football clubs such as Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Liverpool, FC Porto, Benfica, Valencia and many more.
The three-course dinner and dance will take place on Saturday, July 25, and tickets are available at R150 per person. The dance will be an eighties themed party.
