ALBERTON- Madiba day is fast approaching and Childline has a number of ways in which you can spend your 67 minutes and help a child in need.

Here are the options:

You can’t leave your office but you’d like to do “something”:

• Buy a Madiba Day memory on-line.

• Collect goodies from your colleagues and friends…

You could collect, package and deliver

• Play Therapy materials to assist children undergoing therapy.

• Childline takes in children at night in emergency situations and needs food, nappies and clothes for all ages.

• Leaders training. Every year 75 underprivileged children have an opportunity to attend the Childline leadership programme. They need branded T-shirts and caps, plastic cutlery and crockery, tinned food, juices and snacks.

• Office stationery to keep records of services rendered.

• Cleaning materials.

• Tea, coffee, sugar etc., a gift voucher from a retailer will also work.

If you can help with some big stuff Childline sure would appreciate it!
