Make dad a golf bug
Running out of ideas on what to buy dad on his special day? With his visor and mini golf club this bug is sure to get a hole in one.
You will need:
- Wool.
- Mini golf club.
- A cut out of the visor, hands and feet.
- Craft foam.
- Foam feet.
- Wiggle eyes.
- Styrofoam ball.
- Pipe cleaner.
- Cardboard.
- Glue.
- Scissors.
What to do:
Make a pompom by wrapping different coloured wool around a 12,5 centimetre piece of cardboard at least 100 times. Cut a 15 centimetre piece of wool and slide it under the wrapped wool. Tie tightly into a double knot.
Turn the cardboard over and cut completely through the wool on this side. Turn the wool blob sideways and smooth down the strands.
Press the styrofoam ball onto a hard surface to flatten the bottom. Cover the top and the sides of the ball with glue. Seperate the strands of the pompom to fit onto the styrofoam ball. Press the pompom into place.
Cut the pipe cleaner in half and use the halves as arms. Glue the hands onto the pipe cleaners and the pipe cleaners onto the ball. Glue on the eyes and feet and glue the golf club onto one of the hands.
