Top 100 semi-finalists in Mrs South Africa
The top 100 semi-finalists for the Mrs South Africa pageant were recently announced out of a record number of entries received by the organisation.
JOHANNESBURG – One hundred beautiful, sophisticated and married women from all over South Africa came together for a women-empowering workshop held at Emperors Palace on March 7 to prepare them for the journey ahead.
“As the pageant grows, so the number and quality of entrants, and this year proves to be no different,” says CEO Joani Johnson.
Mrs South Africa has the reputation of a women-empowerment programme and prides itself on real, bona fide women.
The 100 semi-finalists will go on to compete at the semi-final weekend held at Emperors palace, and will be submitted to gruelling judging sessions by an esteemed panel of judges headed by principal judge, Cindy Nell-Roberts.
Only 25 lucky women will be selected to continue on the journey as a finalist for Mrs South Africa. These finalists will be announced at the annual CANSA Gala Dinner on April 24 at Emperors Palace’s Centre Court.
The Gala Dinner is a glittering event and a highlight on the social calendar. All proceeds of this event will go to the pageant’s official charity, the Cancer Association of South Africa.
