March and April garden club programme
Come and enjoy Johannesburg South Garden Club’s events and talks over the next two months.
On Saturday March 14, speaker Dirk Meyer from Mayford Seeds will be speaking on winter flowers and vegetables.
On March 21 and 22 the annual Autumn Flower Show will take place at the Entrance Precinct, Peggy Vera Road, Kibler Park. The public are invited to come along to view the flower show on Saturday from 11:00 to 16:00 and Sunday 09:00 to 16:00. Refreshments and light meals will be available. Tuesday March 31, club outing, hop-on-hop-off bus tour, costs R75 pp. Contact Denise Haslecker if you are interested in joining in the fun on 082 551 3919.
On Saturday April 18, guest speaker Ray Topp will speak on birds/astronomy of the universe, and on Tuesday April 21 you can learn about raptors from speaker Lorna Stanton.
