Creative Academy opening a success

Saturday, January 31 was the perfect day for the opening of Creative Academy Preschool and Baby Centre.

The event was well attended by parents and children of many different ages. Some well-prepared parents were even doing research for babies still in utero.

The centre’s opening ceremony began with a touching speech by the principal and owner, Jenna Axsel. Jenna expressed thanks to her staff, family, supporters and clients for helping her to realise her dream of opening her own school.

The centre was blessed with a prayer by local pastor Justus Katzke and a recitation of the Lord’s Prayer by Jenna’s son Ethan. After the ribbon was cut and the champagne popped; parents were treated to a tour of the centre, with staff on hand to answer any questions about the educational centre.

The Creative Academy is a bilingual, registered educational facility with a focus on emotional intelligence. The classes are blended with a range of ages with work specifically targeted on the children’s individual developmental stages. A separate baby facility for children from six weeks to 18 months, with baby massage and sensory integration exercises, is available.

The event also featured stalls from Playball, Catrobatkidz, Light Weights Gym and Singing Sensations.
