Making a difference: Generous customers make children happy
You have made a difference in the lives of all the children who will each be receiving a Christmas gift from you.
OAKDENE – Give yourself a pat on the back if you were one of the customers who chose a gift tag from the Christmas tree for St Mary’s Children’s Home, which was at The Glen Shopping Centre over the past few weeks.
Dean Myburgh and Carla Juta from The Glen marketing went along to the children’s home on Thursday December 18 to deliver a trailer full of Christmas gifts for the children.
“This year we have been extremely fortunate in receiving lots of gifts for the children. It’s so heartwarming to see the generosity of our customers and we thank each and every one of you who took a gift tag and bought a gift,” said Dean and Carla.
“Huge thanks from all of us at St Mary’s,” said Sonja Harmse, director of the home. “Know you have made a difference in the lives of all the children who will each be receiving a Christmas gift from you. There’s been a wonderful response and we are so grateful.”
