New Life Recovery Centre
New Life Recovery Centre is a support group in Eden Park for recovering substance abusers and their families.
EDEN PARK – The group gets together weekly on Tuesday evenings at Eden Park High School and all addicts who voluntarily wish to change their lives through the help of a supporter and the NLRC programme.
The programme lasts four weeks and follows a 12-step recovery course which deals with affective parenting, communication skills, anger management, self esteem and more.Those joining the group can also expect the support of NLRC facilitators and staff., an environment where trust, respect, healing and honesty is encouraged, through sharing your story.
Every addict who joins must be accompanied by a supporter, who will support them through their recovery. It’s a process. Workshops and presentations by other organisations will add to the benefits offered by the programme.
NLRC also works in other areas and if you are willing to travel to Eden Park, you will get the necessary support.
