Grade 12 – Good luck with your exams

Ekurhuleni was the envy of many others when we delivered some of the country’s brightest minds in the grade 12 group of 2013. It is that time of year again when our grade 12 prepare to be tested on what they have learned.

The 2014 final exams are about to commence. The young people of today are the leaders of tomorrow. They represent the hopes and dreams of our community. On behalf of all my colleagues in Ekurhuleni, I wish all grade 12 learners good luck and all the best for their final exams that start next week.

I trust you have all studied hard and you are all well prepared for the most important academic test of your school career. This is the pinnacle of your 12 years of schooling and the final winning post to open the door to your future.

I trust the class of 2014 will once again make Ekurhuleni proud! Let us all encourage our learners to lift their morale, change their mood and motivate every learner to do well. Please take this dose of inspiration and encouragement to empower you to take control of your own future and your destiny. It is my wish that every learner will reach the maximum level of their own potential, and become a contributing and valued member of society and our community. In the words of Nelson Mandela: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world..”

Ekurhuleni is offering Learnership Programmes as a commitment to social, skills and economic development to learners who pass their grade 12. Learners are encouraged to apply for these programmes. Unfortunately only candidates who meet the minimum requirements will be considered for the Learnership Programme.
