Eden Park – Times are hard and many families are struggling to put food on the table due to the wide scale of unemployment in Eden Park and surrounding areas.
But one company took it upon itself to bring smiles to some learners who are unable to afford school uniforms. MND Specialised Fasteners in Alrode donated 10 sets of school uniforms to needy learners identified by the school management team.
“The school’s governing body and the management team wish to extend our sincere grattitude and appreciation to MND Speciaised Fasteners for donating the uniforms and stationery to many learners who cannot afford it. As principal I wish to personally thank them for the sterling work they have done with regard to poverty alleviation,” said De Vries.
