Lions face Currie Cup battle without Boshoff
Xerox Golden Lions team will have to do without one of the start players of the season. Marnitz Boshoff is out of the rest of the ABSA Currie Cup season.

JOHANNESBURG – The team from Johannesburg will come up against EP Kings on Saturday August 16 in front of their home crowd. The kick-off is at 14:30.
Xerox Golden Lions head coach Johan Ackermann has named his 22-man outfit, that will go head-to-head with the Eastern Province Kings and try to accumulate more log points.
Ackermann has opted for consistency, making just one forced change to his starting side which downed the Vodacom Blue Bulls 41-13 last weekend.
Jaco van der Walt will start at flyhalf as he slots in for the injured Marnitz Boshoff.
Meanwhile, on the bench, Ackermann has drafted in Guy Cronje and Albertus ‘Kwagga’ Smith. Smith will celebrate his ABSA Currie Cup debut should he get a run out on Saturday.
