Hospice moves forward
Stepping Stone Hospice & Care Services is an independent community driven organisation and the first-ever service of its kind in the greater Alberton area of Ekurhuleni.
NEWMARKET – Donors will now be able to make online donations towards Stepping Stone Hospice & Care Services.
They now have a facility on their website that enables members of the public to make online donations as and when they have the opportunity. This has been made possible through a sponsorship by Christél Rosslee-Venter and the team at IconBrands™ in Meyersdal.
“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” Christel explains that these wise words of Helen Zille are indicative of the way in which the team at IconBrands™ approaches community involvement. “I believe that every one of us, no matter how young or old, rich or poor, have the ability to make a contribution to the community in which we live in,” she concludes.

They receive no government funding and are totally reliant upon the generosity of the community, public sector, fundraising, bequests, donations in lieu of flowers, patient accounts and the sale of second-hand clothes and goods.
