The cream of the crop boxers from the South will entertain the boxing fraternity at “Hot Shots” Box ‘n Dine tournament.

Hot Shots will take place on Tuesday July 15 at Emperors Palace, presented by African Ring and Golden Gloves Promotions and featuring some of the best up and coming boxers as those who have established them among the cream of the crop in South Africa.

Back in the ring at Emperors will be the former IBF title holder, Malcolm Klassen, in the super featherweight division. Suffering from his last defeat against Will Tomlinson in Australia, which was surrounded by broad condemnation as the judges awarded Tomlinson the win, Klassen will take to the ring once again. He has a superb record of 27 won (KO14) lost six and drawn two.

Paul Kamanga will hope to further his winning streak as he makes his appearance on the bill in the junior welterweight division. Also back is lightweight Joey Stiglingh, after a short absence losing to Jasper Seroka in 2013. The pair had previously fought a thrilling eight-rounder, but this time Seroka won as he pleased, via TKO in the eighth round.

Grant Fourie will once again show his skills in the lightweight division, while Ricardo Hiraman, the new sensation in the featherweight division, should also extend his record of three wins without a loss.

Other boxers who will feature on the bill are Boitshepo Mandawe, Mastered Mangalaza, Rafaiwai Maema, Ayanda Nkosi, Thulani Mbatha, Chaz Peters and Matima Molefe in their respective divisions.

African Ring has once again put together an action-packed bill for the evening that keeps boxing alive in the country. To book your seat or table contact Jeff Ellis on 078 457 3030.
