Spur Assault: Murder case postponed to Friday

The murder case of the six accused of allegedly beating a man to death at the Spur has been postponed to Friday June 27.

ALBERTON – While earlier reports suggested the case will resume today, the court heard that one of the investigating officers involved was not available.

Meanwhile, the name of the victim has not been confirmed yet, the RECORD is also investigating the events of Sunday. Unconfirmed reports suggest there is more to the event than what has been reported to date.

  4. This is a senseless death. Unfortunately their egos will cost them a life time full of regrets. This was such a lovely young man.

  5. Absolutely heart breaking… You will find that when a group of youngsters are in a group, they tend to do a lot of “chirping”, but when caught alone they run like cowards. My prayers go out to the Mother of the deceased. I feel her pain.

I will pray for the family.

    God Bless
