Come to Southgate for a taste of Southern Flavours
The main event, the Battle of the Families Cook-off, which will encourage consumer engagement, and will see families battling it out against each other, will take place on Saturday August 16.
ORMONDE – It will be the Naidoos versus the Nkosi’s at Southgate’s Flavours of the South Food Show. Southgate Mall will be hosting the show from August 12 to 17.
Incorporated into this event will be the recognised Phillips Masterclass cooking course on July 19, championed by Philips, the key appliance sponsor.

To take part, visit Southgate Mall and request an entry form, or simply enter online on www.southgatemall.co.za, enter your family’s favourite recipe, attach your family photo together with a photo of the cooked family dish and your details before July 6, and get ready to cook.
Twelve finalists will be selected to compete in the Family Cook-off on August 16. Up to R70 000 worth of prizes will be up for grabs including Phillips cooking appliances, gift vouchers, and a one year chef’s internship.
