Hitzeroth murder suspects plead not guilty, case postponed to September

The couple is expected to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate's Court on September 25, after being accused of murdering Gert Hitzeroth.

The suspects Bianca Jackson and Shaun Walter Beaton, who are charged with Gert Hitzeroth’s murder, reappeared before the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on August 26.

Beaton, who is accused of murder, is said to have killed Hitzeroth by hitting him with a baseball bat and then drowning him in a swimming pool. He pleaded not guilty.

Jackson, who is charged with two crimes, is said to have obstructed justice by hiding the murder weapon and wiping the victim’s blood off the scene.

To this charge, she entered a not-guilty plea. She also faces an additional allegation of accessory to assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

The matter was postponed to September 25 due to Palm Ridge Court not having electricity and water.
