Young cricketers on a winning streak

Alberton Cricket Club’s U11 cricketers, Alberton Royals, were recently club winners of the winter league tournament, which hosted teams from across Gauteng.

The team went undefeated throughout the tournament, winning 13 games.

The club has congratulated the team for their uninterrupted sequence of success.

The team members are Caldon Strimling (coach), Basheer Ismail (assistant coach), Slater Thomas, Kieran Fourie, Hamzah Ismail (captain), Kian Daniel, Jason Connoway and Nicholas Stevens. Members also include Ethan Alabanjzas, Veerin Naicker, Liam De Klerk, Omphile Makopo, James Underwood (vice-captain), Christian Mkosana, AJ Venter and Hayden Franke.
