4 bodies found scattered on R59 tragic crash
This is after Ekurhuleni emergency services were called to the scene in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Four men have died after the car they were travelling in crashed on the R59 freeway, just before the Kliprivier Road off-ramp on August 4.
William Ntladi, spokesperson for Ekurhuleni’s Emergency Services said paramedics and the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) were called to the accident scene just before 7:00 on Sunday.
“On arrival, a single hatchback vehicle with four adult male occupants was found several meters away from the road,” he said.
Ntladi said all four were scattered motionless around the wreck. Unfortunately, they were all declared deceased on the scene by paramedics.
The scene has been handed over to EMPD law enforcement officers for investigation. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
