Mitak donate over 900 sanitary pads for Mandela Day
Four NPOs were showered with donations by Mitak so as to keep their mission going and to help vulnerable individuals.
In a heartfelt tribute to Mandela Day, an Alrode-based company, Mitak, has demonstrated generosity by donating essential supplies to support local NPOs in Ekurhuleni.
This initiative saw over 900 sanitary pads distributed among four NPOs, aiming to address a critical need for menstrual hygiene products among vulnerable communities.
In addition to sanitary pads, the company’s contribution extended to a wide range of essential items for daily living.
Blankets, food supplies, toiletries, mattresses, heaters, fridges, washing machines, and chairs were among the donations provided to these organisations. These contributions were not merely material gifts but strategic investments aimed at enhancing the operational capacities of the NPOs and bolstering their ability to serve their beneficiaries effectively.
