Event organisers urged to submit applications before election week
Individuals who wish to host an event within the City of Ekurhuleni is urged to do so before May 21.
The City of Ekurhuleni Safety at Sports and Recreational Events Act (SASREA) committee is requesting that event organisers, companies, and people who wish to host events in the city during the election week submit applications by May 21.
The city’s SASREA committee meets every Wednesday to accept event submissions.
The office will be closed from May 27 to 31, to attend to election tasks around the city. Operations will resume on June 5.
Event application forms can be accessed on the city’s website: www.ekurhuleni.gov.za or can be requested from sasrea@ekurhuleni.gov.za or lerato.lebeko@ekurhuleni.gov.za or shadi.tsebe@ekurhuleni.gov.za.
