Alberton High in top five in Ekurhuleni South

Alberton High School proudly achieved a 73% Bachelor’s pass and congratulates the Matric Class of 2023 for their hard work.

Alberton High School is excited to announce an impressive 98% pass rate for the Class of 2023, which has seen a 0.4% increase.

On behalf of the school, the school principal Annie Olivier congratulated the Class of 2023 for making the school and their parents proud.

“We are still one of the top five schools in the Ekurhuleni South District. We had a 98% pass rate with a 73% bachelor’s pass and we attained about 100 distinctions. We are very proud of our learners, they did very well. Congratulations to every parent, the staff and our management,” he said.

The school’s top achiever, Linda-Louise Olivier, who bagged six distinctions, said hard work and sticking with the right friends is crucial. She will be studying BCom (Informatics) at the University of Pretoria.
