Man apprehended by Alberton SAPS for house burglary
A man was arrested after allegedly forcefully gaining access to a residency in Randhart. CPS Security successfully apprehended the suspect in Alrode after fleeing on foot.
CPS Security arrested a suspect for a house burglary in Jacqueline Road, Randhart, on September 18.
The director of CPS Security, Tyrone van der Merwe, said they received a call from a client who told them they needed help because someone was breaking into their property.
“Our reaction units were sent out to the complaint. A description of the suspect was provided and the suspect was swiftly apprehended within minutes,” said Van Der Merwe.
The suspect had fled on foot in the direction of Alrode. After contacting Alberton SAPS, the suspect was handed over and a case was opened.
