Alberton Netcare Hospital celebrates its annual Wellness Day

Alberton Netcare Hospital celebrated its annual Wellness Day with a vibrant 'Go Bananas' theme, offering staff a day of relaxation and free medical services.

Alberton Netcare Hospital celebrated its annual Wellness Day on September 8, extending a warm gesture of appreciation to its dedicated staff members.

This event, eagerly expected each year, serves as a token of gratitude for the tireless efforts of the hospital employees.

The hospital went the extra mile by inviting various vendors, specialising in medical services to take part in this special occasion.

According to the client liaison officer of the hospital, Sylvia Karow, these vendors generously provided their services free, offering staff members a unique opportunity to prioritise their own well-being.

“This act of generosity not only underscored the hospital’s commitment to the health and happiness of its staff but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and unity within the healthcare community.

“This year, the event theme was ‘Go Bananas’, an exuberant reminder to have fun while availing oneself of the array of services on offer,” said Karow.

Laughter echoed through the halls as staff members embraced the light-hearted spirit, seizing the chance to unwind and indulge in well-deserved self-care.

Karow said beyond the festivities, the wellness day also served as an invaluable platform for the hospital to showcase the range of services it offers.

“It provided an excellent opportunity for staff members to explore and engage with the various vendors, fostering a deeper understanding of the healthcare options available to them. This outreach not only benefits the individual but contributes to a healthier, more informed community at large,” said Karow.

The hospital took a moment to express heartfelt gratitude to both the vendors and staff members in attendance.
