Roads in Mayberry Park, Albertsdal open following community protest

All roads in Mayberry Park and Albertsdal have been reopened to traffic following an earlier closure due to protest action in the area.
According to reports, Eekhoring Road (Albertsdal), JG Strijdom Road (Mayberry Park) and Hennie Alberts Street were barricaded with burning tyres and debris.
It is reported that some frustrated residents took to the streets on Monday morning, protesting over the ongoing power outages in the area.
