Tutela Alberton there for the needy

Tutela Family Care Alberton recorded an impressive 85% in statutory services, 8% in early intervention and prevention services and 7% in community work and awareness.

At least 332 food packages and 197 frozen meals were received as donations and handed to the beneficiaries at Tutela Family Care Alberton from April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2023.

This, among other accomplishments, was announced at Tutela Alberton’s AGM on August 17 at the NG Church Alberton South.

Chaired by the Tutela Alberton chairperson, minister Phillip Coetzee, he said 23 clients received clothes, and they distributed 93 pairs of safety boots to those in need.

“At least 100 food parcels from the Lions Club were handed out. Food was cooked at the office and distributed to clients, 43 blankets were distributed to those in need, 123 clients used our shower facilities, and 18 care bags donated NuDebt Management Pty Ltd were distributed to clients,” he noted.

Last June, the NG Church Alberton South donated 40 blankets, and Randhart Primary School donated non-perishable food items.

“The Bible study group from NG Church Alberton South worked hard to sand and varnish the garage doors and the front fence. They also installed a pedestrian gate. We are so grateful,” Coetzee said.

Body language expert and human behaviour analyst Tania Steyn was the guest.

“I love what I do and feel it whenever I work with clients. I believe there are no ordinary people and that if given the chance, everyone will have something amazing to offer,” she stated.
