CPS Security arrested a suspect for house robbery in Venter Street, Randhart, on June 25.
According to the director of CPS Security, Tyrone van der Merwe, their control room was alerted of a house burglary. This alert came immediately after a call was received from a local guarding company after noticing an unknown male forced entry into a property.
“Our reaction and tactical units responded to the complaint, which later resulted in a positive arrest. Crowbars and screwdrivers used to break into the property were found in the suspect’s possession,” said Van der Merwe.
The suspect was handed over to Alberton SAPS and a case was opened.
