The Creative Academy Group honoured fatherhood in memorable event
The Creative Academy Group recently hosted an event to celebrate and strengthen the bond between fathers and their children.
The event was a fun-filled experience for dads and kids and created lasting memories. The festivities began with box car building when fathers and children teamed up to design and construct miniature vehicles.
This task fostered creativity and teamwork skills, bringing families closer together.
“The highlight was the daddy boot camp, featuring physical challenges and games that promoted fitness and allowed fathers to showcase their strength and agility. The displays left their children in awe and strengthened their admiration for their dads,” said the group’s director, Jenna Axsel.
In a relaxed atmosphere, the chill-and-grill morning saw fathers and children mix their own braai spices and savour a delicious braai. This setting encouraged open conversation and allowed dads to impart their wisdom to their children.
“I thank the fathers who attended this special event. It showed their vital role in their children’s lives,” she said.
She highlighted the importance of the father’s presence and influence in shaping their children’s development, fostering love, respect, and admiration.
